We started recycling in 1970! Our recycling center is open to the public, and we pay per pound of aluminum. Recycling is available for consumers via G&M: G&M understands the impact the packaging of their products makes on the environment. G&M decided to help reduce the environmental fingerprint their product packaging creates and open an aluminum recycling center on-site. Since 1996 G&M has recycled over 3 million pounds of aluminum.

The recycling center is open:

• Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 4 PM

APRIL EARTH DAY RECYCLING PROMOTION

Why celebrate one or two days when you can celebrate all week long! This year, G & M Distributors' recycling center will be holding its annual Earth Day promotion for an entire week – Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26, offering an additional 5¢ per pound bonus on aluminum cans recycled.

During the week-long promotion, G & M will also donate 1¢ per pound of aluminum cans recycled to Knox College's Sustainability Task Force. The Knox College Sustainability Task Force reflects Knox's commitment to sustainable living on campus and off. Comprised of students, faculty, and staff, the Task Force helps identify, encourage, and support environmentally friendly best practices in the college's educational programs, institutional and social structures, and economic actions.
